Yes! Our pick-up and drop-off service is completely FREE when you book your bike in for repairs, servicing, diagnostics, or major work at AK Motorbikes. There are no hidden costs or call-out fees within our local service areas.
❓ Which areas do you cover for motorbike collection?
We offer pick-up and drop-off throughout:

- Sheffield outskirts & Meadowhall

❓ Do you pick up non-running or broken-down motorbikes?
Absolutely. We specialise in collecting non-running bikes, breakdowns, MOT failures, and motorcycles with electrical or mechanical faults. Our purpose-built trailer is designed to safely transport bikes in any condition.
❓ Can you collect my motorbike if it has no MOT or tax?
Yes — that’s exactly what our collection service is for. If your bike isn’t road legal, we’ll pick it up and drop it off once the work is complete.
❓ Do you collect and repair Chinese motorbikes?
Yes! We are one of the few garages in Barnsley and Rotherham that works on Chinese motorcycles, including Lexmoto, Sinnis, Keeway, WK, Pulse, Zontes, and more. We happily collect and return all Chinese models.
❓ Is your motorbike trailer safe for expensive or custom bikes?
Definitely. Our trailer uses heavy-duty straps, wheel chocks, soft tie-downs, and anti-tilt supports to ensure your motorcycle — whether it’s a 125, superbike, cruiser, or custom build — is transported safely and securely.
❓ How do I book a motorbike collection?
Just contact us via phone, message, or social media. We’ll arrange a pick-up time that suits you, often on the same day or next day depending on availability.
❓ Can you collect my bike from my workplace instead of my home?
Yes — we can collect or deliver to any location, including workplaces, homes, storage units, and garages, as long as it’s safe and accessible.
❓ Do I need to be present when you collect my motorbike?
Ideally yes, but if you’re unable to be there, we can arrange safe alternative access. Just let us know in advance.
❓ Do you offer emergency or same-day collections?
Where possible, yes. We often provide same-day or urgent collections, especially for breakdowns and stranded riders. Availability depends on bookings, so contact us as soon as possible.
